Kingpin Unreleased 7"

$7.00

Kingpin was a Massachusetts-based melodic hardcore band with a sound often described as a mix between Verbal Assault and NYHC. During the band’s existence from 1990-1993 they released a debut 7” via Suburban Voice, and prolifically gigged throughout the Northeastern United States both as headliners and support for many other seminal hardcore bands from this time period. A second four song EP was recorded, but after many delays was never released due to label complications. This slowed the band’s momentum and contributed in part to their eventual break up. Although cassette dubs of these lost final recordings were shared over the years by tape trading and internet download, they have now been newly mastered by Nick Townsend from the original analog master tape for official release twenty five years later.
