For everyone who ordered the lp we’re are very sorry for delays the pressing plant, The Vinyl Lab in Nashville, we had it at that promised it in December 2024 went bankrupt in December 2024. Luckily the project was saved by Piper from Physical Music Products and they have been working their asses off to make sure we have them in our hand for the show. Again we are very sorry for this delay I heard about the closing from Piper and not even from The Vinyl Lab themselves despite a number of emails and calls. Again sorry for the delay.
Over the span of five years which included a
worldwide pandemic and working in new drummer Pete Moffett (formerly of Government Issue), the group wrote nine songs that were recorded with J.Robbins (Jawbox, Burning Airlines) in July of 2023. The results further their heavy and heartfelt sound while vocalist Mark Sullivan’s profound and wry lyrics appear just as evocative as they did decades ago. 40 years since its inception, King Face continues on with a timeless intent and a sound matchless to any other band from the nation’s capital.
